In his speech at the Parliament of Georgia, Justice Minister Rati Bregadze focused on projects the ruling party has carried out this year and answered the MPs' questions regarding third president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
Bregadze said that they transferred the ex-president to No.18 facility to protect his health. As for the publication of the video footage, he said that they had to take this measure as they tried to delude the public by alleging that Saakashvili was forced out from No 12 penitentiary establishment. ''The public had to see how he leaves the facility voluntarily,'' Bregadze stated.
