Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze defined the accusation according to which they differentiate between people in need of social assistance according to their political convictions as insulting.
''You can ask your colleagues how many people we have helped. You cannot determine who you are going to provide with social assistance according to which party they support. This is the greatest possible evil. This is insulting,'' Kaladze responded to oppositionist Sopo Japaridze, who posed him the corresponding question.
A meeting at which candidates for Cabinet members are being selected is underway in Tbilisi City Assembly.
