Kobakhidze says as Georgia has high economic growth, EU's financial aid not important

Georgian Dream Chairperson Irakli Kobakhidze said in his statement that receiving financial support of EUR 75 million from the EU is no longer important for Georgia.

''We have EUR 75 mln credit. Thank God, the economic situation is different. We have accumulated the additional sum of around EUR 1 billion in the budget. This is a sign of strong economic growth, and this no longer has any financial significance.

When it comes to politics, it is up to the EU to make a final decision; however, the truth must be said: Georgian Dream pursues both the country's and our partners' objective interests. Our strategic partners will decide the rest,'' Kobakhidze declared.
