Law expert Mindia Ugrekhelidze appointed as Georgian Justice Minister's adviser

Georgian Justice Minister Rati Bregadze has nominated law expert Mindia Ugrekhelidze as his special adviser.

In Mr. Ugrekhelidze's words, the rank is a tremendous challenge for him, and he stands ready to share his extensive experience with the ministerial team. 

Mindia Ugrekhelidze served as chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia and was the first Georgian judge at the European Court of Human Rights-ECHR. He has been a member of the Worldwide Lawyers Association, the International Criminal Law Association and has so far held other senior positions.
