Leader of parliamentary majority accuses opposition of misleading people

Even without looking through the OSCE/ODIHR Opinion, it is clear that they intend to make the Georgian people swallow a lie, leader of the parliamentary majority Mamuka Mdinaradze said in his statement.

In Mdinaradze's words, people want to know whether the so-called German model was forwarded to them and whether the OSCE/ODIHR opinion confirms that precisely this model complies with the constitution.

"They failed to say anything like this. They are now trying to manipulate people and coax them into believing that the German model, which they have been talking about for months, is in line with the constitution. This may not be written anywhere. For months, arguments have been underway over this issue, with them alleging that the so-called German model complies with the constitution. However, determining that the German model is in line with our constitution is impossible and will remain so. We will not let them delude people," Mamuka Mdinaradze stressed.
