Gubaz Sanikidze, a member of the left-wing party, has apologized to the U.S. Embassy and the Ambassador. In his words, he failed to formulate his opinion into words, and he never wanted to say that the U.S. is listening to Ivanishvili's telephone conversations. In his words, he does respect the U.S. and the role of its Embassy in Georgia's everyday life.
"If the representatives from the Embassy show their desire, I will meet them and explain everything," Sanikidze said.
