Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda is expected to visit Georgia on 11-12 June, together with his spouse and delegation.
Thanks to his visit, he aims to express solidarity with Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations, reform implementation, and democratic consolidation.
Within his visit, the president will meet with the Georgian president, prime minister, the chairperson of the parliament, Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II, representatives of the local Lithuanian community, and NGOs.
Mr. Nausėda will also get familiarized with the situation along with the occupation line.
The Lithuanian president will visit Georgia for the first time.
