Maia Miminoshvili may replace Mikheil Batiashvili as Minister of Education, Science, Culture, And Sport of Georgia.

According to Genadi Margvelashvili, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Education says he has no specific information on who will take the post, but says he supports Miminoshvili's candidacy.
"I have known Maia for a long time, she is a member of our team and I would support her if the Prime Minister nominates her, but to be honest, there was no discussion on this issue so far", Margvelashvili told report.ge.
Miminoshvili, the former Head of the National Assessment and Examinations Center, resigned in September of 2018. Maminoshvili held the position from 2002 to 2007 and in 2007 was appointed as the Minister of Education. In 2008 she returned to the position of the Head of the National Assessment and Examinations Center.
