Mamuka Mdinaradze, a UNM leader, has denied information saying that law enforcement officers have fired tear gas during the rally outside the CEC building.
"They have intentionally spread information on police using tear gas against rally participants; however, the need for this never emerged; I will directly say that this is a planned attempt to mislead the public," Mdinaradze said.
