Mikheil Saakashvili, the former President of Georgia and Governor of Odesa Oblast, stated that relations with President Volodymyr Zelensky would not go wrong, as it happened with Petro Poroshenko. Saakashvili commented while talking to Ukraine 24, and called Zelensky brave for offering him the post.

"Together with the President, I will break the schemes," Saakashvili said.

At the same time, Saakashvili noted that he would no longer assemble a Georgian team, as happened under Poroshenko's ruling.

"I think there are enough Ukrainians here to find their place and role," he said.

The ruling party, Servant of the People, will consider the issue of Saakashvili today. In case of a favorable decision, the Ukrainian Parliament will vote on the appointment at tomorrow's plenary session.

Mikheil Saakashvili, the former President of Georgia and Governor of Odesa Oblast, said on April 22, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky offered him the post of Vice Prime Minister for reforms and would soon present the program in Rada.
