The Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze met with the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Abdullayev.
At the beginning of the meeting, Zurab Pataradze congratulated Emin Abdullayev on his appointment. During the conversation, Zurab Pataradze stressed the importance of further developing cultural ties between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
"The meeting stressed the high level of cooperation between the two countries in culture, emphasizing that the parties will do their utmost to deepen cultural relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan further. At the meeting, the desire was expressed to hold the next round of the bilateral interagency commission in the field of culture in the near future and discuss organizing cultural days in Georgia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the end of the meeting, Emin Abdullayev congratulated his Georgian counterpart Tea Tsulukiani on her appointment and expressed readiness to carry out mutual visits," the embassy said in a statement.
