Vakhtang Gomelauri, the Minister of Internal Affairs paid an official visit to France.
Bilateral meeting was held with Christophe Castaner, the Minister of Internal Affairs of France.
Vakhtang Gomelauri thanked his French counterpart for support of Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and emphasized the importance of the support of France in Georgia's European integration process.
The purpose of the visit is strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in the field of law and discuss joint measures and future plans in response to the challenges of visa-free travel with the EU.
“Our integration into Europe is important for the Georgian people. We work together on both migration and organized crime, which is important to France today”, Vakhtang Gomelauri said.
