After completing the Romania-Poland-Turkey Ministerial in Bucharest, the Foreign Ministers of the three countries issued a joint statement.

"We agreed that further strengthening NATO's restraining and defensive position and the political dimension of the Alliance, strengthening resilience and supporting open-door policy, as well as its Eastern and Western Balkan partners, remain important. We emphasize NATO's continued interest in a substantive dialogue with our partners, given that this relationship must remain mutually beneficial," the statement said.

The address of the first diplomats also mentioned the importance of inviting the Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Ukraine to the trilateral ministerial.

"Today, we invited the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Georgia to an informal meeting to exchange views in Bucharest. We have reassured our colleagues in Georgia and Ukraine of our countries' unwavering commitment to support and assist them. We reaffirm our support for Georgia and Ukraine, their independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, within their internationally recognized borders, and the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of both countries. We agreed to continue to coordinate in a tripartite format to facilitate further NATO development and to support partners in implementing projects and initiatives in this area," the statement said.
