Nika Melia, the chairperson of the United National Movement, says he has discussed many issues with President Salome Zurabishvili. As Melia says, the process is important, though he "has no naive expectations." He said this after meeting with the President at the Orbeliani Palace.
"I'm convinced that civil consent as a process should have a chance. I personally see the slight chance and will facilitate this process to the best of my ability," Melia said.
At the same time, Nika Melia says that President Zurabishvili correctly assesses the situation in the country and has correctly presented the solution.
"During the meeting, we talked about practically all the issues. The solution is presented correctly, but a lot depends on the regime itself," Melia stated.
