"Such activity at half-past nine in the morning is unusual. It is caused by an irresistible desire to have an opportunity for normal life in this country," one of the United National Movement leaders, Nika Melia, said after casting his ballot.
In his words, everyone in Georgia is tired of cynicism that lasted for eight years.
"Today, the Georgian people will decisively defeat the oligarch,'' he said.
"I cannot remember such queues were in front of precincts, and the ambassador of our main strategic partner, the United States, having visited the CEC, this also means that the entire international community, our main strategic partners, stand by the side of the Georgian people," Melia stated.
