The ombudsman noted that there should be a conclusion from qualified doctors in the field about the need for Saakashvili to be treated abroad.
"According to the last visit, no such thing has been said by the doctors of my council. However, it is interesting to see and assess the situation today. Therefore, I can not say anything in advance. If the patient has a condition that cannot be rehabilitated in Georgia, of course, for humanitarian purposes, in the interests of human life and health, this can also be considered; however, at the moment, I do not have the evidence to suggest that this need exists," said Lomjaria.
