North Atlantic Council to visit Georgia

On October 3-4, at the invitation of the Georgian Government, the North Atlantic Council will visit Georgia, informs The NATO Press Office.

The press release includes information on the planned meetings to be held in Georgia by Deputy Secretary General of NATO Rose Gottemoeller and the NATO ambassadors.

The members of the North Atlantic Council will conduct meetings with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri, Chairperson of Parliament, Archil Talakvadze and members of the Parliament of Georgia.

The ambassadors of NATO member countries will have a working lunch with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani. They will also meet the representatives of the civil society and visit two coast guard vessels.

The NATO Deputy Secretary General will also address students at Batumi State University.
