The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili paid an official visit to the Swiss Confederation, the first high-level visit of Georgia to Switzerland.
The President begins her visit to the Swiss Confederation with meetings with international organizations based in Geneva.
According to the administration, meetings will be held with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom, and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, Professor Klaus Schwab.
On October 15, the President of Georgia will pay an official visit to Bern, where an official welcoming ceremony will be held, after which the Presidents of the two countries will meet face to face.
The meeting of the President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin and the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili is scheduled, after which the Presidents will make joint statements to the press and answer their questions.
The President of Georgia is also scheduled to meet with the First Vice-President of the Swiss National Council Irène Kälin in Bern.
