Parliament has appointed 6 out of 9 candidates to the Supreme Court for life.
The appointed judges are:
Gocha Abuseridze - 79 for, five against;
Giorgi Gogiashvili - 79 for, four against;
Levan Tevzadze - 77 for, 6 - against;
Revaz Nadaria - 77 for, 6 against;
Bidzina Sturua - 78 for, 6 against;
Lasha Kochiashvili - 79 for, five against;
Parliament did not support three candidates: Ketevan Meskhishvili, Eka Zarnadze, and Giorgi Shavliashvili.
The main part of the opposition did not take part in the voting. Only members of the Citizens, European Socialists, and the For Georgia from the opposition attended the plenary session.
