The Parliament of Georgia will discuss the government program's issue and the declaration of confidence to the Cabinet of Ministers, submitted by the candidate for the post of the Prime Minister.

The PM candidate and the ministerial candidates will first be heard in a parliamentary majority format, and then they will meet with the opposition. After that, the Parliament will decide on the declaration of confidence in the format of the plenary session. At least 76 votes are needed to approve the new government.

The following changes are being made in the Cabinet of Ministers, Irakli Gharibashvili will head the government. Juansher Burchuladze, the Deputy Minister of Defense, has been nominated for the Minister of Defense position. Maia Tskitishvili will be replaced by her first deputy Irakli Karseladze as the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure.

All other ministers remain in office, and the cabinet is as follows: the Minister of Internal Affairs - Vakhtang Gomelauri; the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports - Mikheil Chkhenkeli; the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs - Eka Tikaradze; the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality - Tea Akhvlediani; the Minister of Finance - Vano Machavariani; the Minister of Foreign Affairs - David Zalkaliani; the Minister of Justice - Gocha Lortkipanidze; the Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture - Levan Davitashvili; the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development - Natia Turnava.
