Parliamentary opposition demands suspension of expedited consideration of the draft law on State Inspector's Service.
This is stated in a joint statement issued by the parliamentary opposition.
"Today, instead of taking a step forward to further strengthen the service, as an effective investigation of crimes committed by law enforcement is a significant challenge for the country, we see an attempt to abolish the State Inspector's Service. It is the sign of political retaliation against an independent state agency,“ the statement reads.
