Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said in his social media post that 16 citizens of Georgia returning to their homeland from Afghanistan are safe.
''Sixteen Georgian citizens, who have been in Afghanistan, are returning to their homeland.
Our citizens are safe; they have probably already boarded and will soon be in Georgia,'' Gharibashvili said in his social media post.
