Politician Armaz Akhvlediani has signed Charles Michel's document after making an independent decision to do so. However, in his words, the European Georgia party will soon follow his lead.
''I am confident that the European Georgia party will soon join this new wave in Georgia's status quo as a state. And you know why: this has no other alternative as the old phase is coming to an end and the new phase is beginning,'' Mr. Akhvlediani said.
It is noteworthy that all MPs are free to sign the agreement separately or together with their team members. The representatives of the ruling and opposition political parties signed the agreement at Orbeliani palace, with the National Movement, European Georgia, and Labor parties refusing to sign it.
