President of Georgia: Anthem of the Soviet Union is an insult

"Playing the anthem of the Soviet Union is an abuse of the Georgian state, and a violation of the law," Salome Zurabishvili, the President of Georgia responded to Irma Nadirashvili and Elene Khoshtaria, the members of European Georgia, who played the anthem of the Soviet Union during the speech of Archil Talakvadze, the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia.

"Using the anthem of the Soviet Union is unacceptable and discredit of the State Institute. I call on all members of the Parliament to respect their legislation," said Salome Zurabishvili.
