Within her visit un Cyprus, Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has met His Holiness Chrysostomos II and thanked him for gifting Georgia the land lot on which a Georgian monastery will be built.
His Holiness said that Georgia and Cyprus are bonded with centuries-long amicable relations, and they have so far continued. ''I want to send blessings to the Georgian people and the Georgian Church through this meeting,'' the archbishop stated.
