Prime Minister: 2019 was important for Georgia-NATO cooperation

Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia, summed up 2019 at today's government session.

"This year, we became the Chairman of the Council of Europe. We should take full advantage of this opportunity to share our achievements with our European partners, our friends, and colleagues. 2019 was a significant year for Georgia and NATO in terms of cooperation and partnership. The number of collaborative training was unprecedented. A new dimension has emerged in NATO-Georgia cooperation, which is Black Sea security; this allows Georgia to be a better partner for NATO. Together with our international partners, it is our mission to be security guarantors in the Black Sea," the Prime Minister said.
