Georgia has a great number of friends in the U.S. and Europe, who not only subject us to criticism but also emphasize Georgia's democratic progress, PM Gakharia told journalists.
"We all understand several factors: first and foremost, we take kindly to our friends' criticism and deem it normal, but we also think we are entitled to corroborate our position. We are doing this today, and we intend to do this in the future. Georgia has a great number of friends in the U.S. and Europe, who not only subject us to criticism but also emphasize Georgia's democratic progress for the last few years. However, I should note that we are faced with upcoming elections, and, unfortunately, some political forces are employing all leverages at hand," Gakharia declared, adding that all fair criticism will be accepted, while unfounded will be adequately responded.
