The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, posted a statement on the social network about the telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili.
Erdogan thanked Irakli Gharibashvili for his support and reiterated the strategic partnership between the two countries.
"I talked to the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili. We discussed relations between our countries and regional issues.
I thank Mr. Gharibashvili for his support during the fire. I emphasize that the Turkish-Georgian strategic partnership has become more meaningful today and we see Georgia as the key to regional cooperation," writes the President of Turkey.
