The Russian Foreign Ministry has released the first statement on the recent cyberattack on the Georgian President's official web page and the web pages of different Georgian institutions.

"For this comment, we hold accountable those representatives of Georgia who have made it. Russia does not intend and has never intended to in any way meddle in Georgia's internal and foreign affairs," Andrey Rudenko declared.

Vladimir Konstantinid, the representative of Georgia's Foreign Ministry, said at the Ministry's briefing that a large-scale cyberattack in Georgia on 28 October 2019 was planned and orchestrated by the Main Division of The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
