''I will not be present at tomorrow's trial due to health issues,'' Georgian ex-pres. Mikheil Saakashvili said in his note.
''The sole reason I wanted to attend the trial was to encourage and support people who have been suffering for several months because of me. These people must be freed and returned to their families immediately,'' the former president wrote.
A trial hearing over Mikheil Saakashvili illegally crossing Georgia's border is set to be held tomorrow.
Elguja Tsomaia, father and son Tsitsoria, and Giorgi Narimanidze were also charged for helping Saakashvili.
