Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has thanked ex-minister of health Ekaterine Tikaradze.
''Ivanishvili forgave health Minister Tikaradze a complete failure in managing COVID, but he has not forgiven her the formation of the state commission made up of unbiased specialists. Tikaradze refused to do what Rati has stooped to by spreading lies on my health condition.
She joined those who required my transfer to a clinic. COVID passes were the last straw. It is clear that the government does not care about its people's lives. I wish to thank Mrs.Tikaradze, who has not lost face in this tough situation,'' Saakashvili said in his note, which his physician Nikiloz Kipshidze read.
Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze has resigned.
Tikaradze said at the briefing in the central office that she plans to serve in the Georgian Dream Political Council.'
