Saakashvili says guards tried to drag him down windowsill for waving flag to supporters

Ex-pres. of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili says that guards attempted to drag him down the windowsill for waving the flag to his supporters.

''Before mother, guards tried to drag me down the windowsill forcefully after I waved the flag which I made with my hands and introduced it long ago. They failed to drag me down, though. These people do not serve Georgia; they serve the occupation regime instead. The Georgian flag should not be triggering such a response from them. I expect another punishment from Putinoids. We must overthrow the occupational government! Long live free Georgia,'' Saakashvili's note reads.

Ex-leader Mikheil Saakashvili's supporters gathered outside the Gori Military Hospital to wish him a happy birthday today.

Mikheil Saakashvili waved his adherents a hand-made flag from the hospital bars.

The hunger-striking ex-president was transferred to the Gori Military Hospital on Dec 21. He was detained on Oct 1.
