According to opposition MP Salome Samadashvili, not only the Minister of Health but the entire government should resign.
She said the government could not avoid responsibility for the covid management process.
"Georgia has one of the worst covid management data in the world. We are in eighth place in terms of transmission in fourth place in terms of mortality rate. In this case, not just the Minister of Health, the whole government should write a statement and leave. The government cannot avoid the responsibility for what happened, because in this case, the covid management process is not only the prerogative of the Minister of Health," said Salome Samadashvili.
The Minister of Health of Georgia has resigned.
