“In recent days we have seen an attack on the Georgian Church and its leader. Fortunately, the public's consolidated response to this challenge has confirmed its maturity”, the President of Georgia said during the speech at the Georgian Defense and Security Conference in Batumi. Salome Zurabishvili pointed out misinformation and defamation as one of the challenges.
The 13th Georgian Defense and Security Conference (GDSC) is hosted by Batumi.
At the Conference the challenges facing Euro-Atlantic security and regional stability will be discussed.
The event is attended by high-ranking Georgian and foreign politicians, defense and security experts, civil society, media and representatives of academic circles.
