"The letter from congressmen is important and noteworthy. It is not just a letter from four congressmen, as shamefully judged by the majority," Sergi Kapanadze, a member of European Georgia, said about the letter sent to Prime Minister of Georgia.
"They are not facing the truth. These are the congressmen who are friends with Georgia. It is the position of the committee as a whole, all the important congressmen working on issues regarding Georgia. These people have been watching for years. Their position will not change with the government's letter," Kapanadze stated.
The governmental administration issued a critical letter by four Congressmen addressed to Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister. Adam Kinzinger, Gerald Connolly, Eliot Engel, and Michael McCaul are the authors of the letter.
