Sixteen candidates want to take the post of Tbilisi Mayor.
Among them is the incumbent mayor of the capital Kakha Kaladze and the nominated candidates of the opposition parties.
The mayor of the capital will be the person who receives more than 50% of the votes cast among the candidates. In the absence of such, the second round of elections will be held in Tbilisi.
The candidates for mayor of the capital are:

9. Giorgi Lomia - election subject "Davit Tarkhan-Mouravi, Irma Inashvili - Alliance of Patriots of Georgia;"
10. Giorgi Laghidze - election subject "Giorgi Laghidze - Future Georgia;"
