"National Movement cannot talk about the violations at the penitentiary system with the Georgian Dream and Tea Tsulukiani because they used to torture people," Sophio Kiladze, the Chairperson of the Human Rights Committee, stated. According to Kiladze, it is not surprising that the United National Movement is not attending the sitting.

"140 prisoners died in 2011 or 2012, which is an incomplete statistic of people who were sacrificed to the National Movement regime. This is why no representative of the National Movement would dare come here today and actualize the problems in the penitentiary system," Kiladze said.

The Parliament of Georgia listens to Nino Lomjaria, the Public Defender regarding the situation in penitentiary institutions. Tea Tsulukiani, the Minister of Justice, also attends the sitting.
