"The state of emergency will not be extended," the Prime Minister said. According to Giorgi Gakharia, after May 22, the Georgian government will no longer appeal to the President and the Parliament to extend the state of emergency.

"Part of the restrictions that epidemiologists think is necessary to maintain to control the high level of risk will stay the same.
