According to the Georgian Parliament Chairman, Archil Talakvadze’s assessment, the Procurators’ worked efficiently under the Chief Procuratorship of Irakli Shotadze and effectively accomplished many investigations. He mentioned that Irakli Shotadze made a serious decision to resign from the General Procurator’s position to eliminate doubts of his personal concern in the much-talked case of Khorava street murder of two school students. By that, he demonstrated that for him, the dignity and truth are much valuable than the position.
The Council of Procurators selected Irakli Shotadze for the position of General Procurator of Georgia.
