“The electoral system is a matter of political importance”, Tamar Zhvania, the Chairperson of Central Election Commission told reporters.
"The Chairperson of Central Election Commission cannot comment regarding the electoral system and the German model. As for the environment and the process, of course a calm election environment is essential”, Zhvania said.
The Chairperson of Central Election Commission is at a seminar held in the framework of the project, Reform of the electoral practice in Georgia, attended by representatives of political parties.
