A clash has reportedly occurred between Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and civil rights activists in Varketili district. Kaladze went there to attend the opening or the refurbished square when "Ana's Garden" activists and members of the Change Movement met him.
In the activists' words, they just wanted to ask him a question on the Dighomi area when the Mayor physically abused one of them.
Kaladze accused the National Movement when journalists ask him to make a comment on the incident, saying that some scoundrels attempted to provoke him.
