"I have never made a comment on covert recordings and do not intend to do this now," Tbilisi Mayor and Georgian Dream Sec-Gen Kakha Kaladze said regarding the recording of phone talk between Bera Ivanishvili and Irakli Gharibashvili.
In Kaladze's words, use of cover recordings for political reasons is absolutely inadmissible. He also stressed that the public would be provided with further information on the recording in the coming days. "More will soon become known," he said, adding, "I deem use of covert recordings absolutely inadmissible."
