Turnava to opposition: There is no plane that will bring you voters

"Believe me, there is no plane that will bring you to the mythological voters and improve your rating in the elections," the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava, responds to the claims of European Georgia regarding the resumption of flights.

The Minister claims that European Georgia creates an illusion that the ruling team prevents its foreign voters from participating in the elections. According to her, Georgia has a responsible government.

"The political motive that there are a lot of angry potential voters in Greece that we are preventing from entering the country is a lie. A citizen of Georgia who has the right to participate in elections, wherever he is, can participate. I understand very well that this is your attempt to create the illusion that there are voters somewhere far away, and the Georgian government is interfering with the process of receiving the votes. A responsible Georgian Dream team runs Georgia, and as we successfully dealt with these challenges in the past, we will continue to do so now, while the economy is opening. The first signs of economic recovery that got identified, despite all the challenges and difficulties, will be strengthened on our part, and next year we will meet with completely different positive dynamics," Turnava said.

A plenary sitting is ongoing in the Parliament, where the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava will be interpellated. The Minister was summoned to the legislature by European Georgia. Ninety-three deputies registered for the sitting, which means that the same number of deputies attends the sitting. According to the regulations, the interpellation also includes debates. Therefore, after the questions are answered and clarified, the discussion will take place.
