''I am extremely sorry because of this commotion. The issue was rudimentary, and if compared to the problems the public faces, we may not even expand on it. However, the devil is in the details. They almost made me climb from the roof to cause a stir,'' Mr. Melia said, adding that the government has shown its true face.
The Tbilisi City Court released Mr. Melia from prison after approving the motion to grant bail.
The Prosecutor's Office filed the motion yesterday.
The Independent European Foundation for Democracy paid the bail on 8 May, with the mediator between the foundation and the state treasury being the Young Lawyers' Association.
