Ivanishvili follows the tradition of second comings. He has already done this, and he is now making Gharibashvili do the same. This a zero-sum game; nothing has changed," Zaal Udumashvili, a member of the UNM Political Council, said.
As members of the opposition say, Gharibashvili retaking the post after six years is unacceptable for them.
"He did nothing when he was in office. They should not now be thinking about the candidates for the post; they should be calling early elections so that we can change the country once and for all and return to the path of development which will advance our country," Udumashvili declared.
Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has resigned today. Also, today, the ruling party nominated Irakli Gharibashvili as the PM candidate.
