For Georgia party leader Giorgi Gakharia says that he has no plans to support either the Georgian Dream or National Movement candidate in the second round of elections.
''We have a wise electorate. Voters having supported us, in fact, said they are against radicalization and the concentration of power; they strive to balance power instead. Correspondingly, we cannot insult them by saying that we back either of the party's candidates,'' Gakharia said, adding that his party's adherents have already turned down the two radical political parties.
Per the CEC preliminary results, two Tbilisi mayorial candidates Kakha Kaladze and Nika Melia will vie for victory in the runoff elections.
The second round of the self-government elections is set to be held in Georgia on 30 October.
