The Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, responds to the visit of the Russian TV presenter Vladimir Pozner to Georgia and the protest rallies.
"The ways of democracy are uncivilized," Zakharova wrote on her Facebook page, adding a phrase from the cartoon "The Wizard of the Emerald City," "We are approaching the Emerald City using the challenging road."
Vladimir Pozner and his guests left Georgia on a charter flight earlier than planned.
Police fined a Russian journalist and 31 of his guests for violating the isolation and quarantine rules.
