Foreign Minister of Georgia Davit Zalkaliani has reportedly held telephone conversations with his Azerbaijani and Armenian counterparts Elmar Mammadyarov and Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.
The Georgian Minister expressed his deep concerns regarding the escalation of the situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia and those who died as the direct result of the armed conflict.
Zalkaliani underscored that diffusing tensions, stopping military activities, and ensuring peace are now critical for the region. He expressed hope that these objectives will be attained thanks to international efforts.
