The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, congratulated Georgia on overcoming the political crisis and stressed the role of the President of Georgia in the April 19 agreement.
The parties discussed the complex political situation in Moldova. President Zurabishvili expressed hope that ways out of this situation would be found and that Georgia and Moldova would be able to start working together to achieve common goals and projects on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration.
The conversation also touched on the covid pandemic and vaccination.
President Zurabishvili invited President Sandu to Georgia.
