Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili focused on the importance of the NATO-Georgia relations and cooperation after the meeting with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg. She said that Georgia appreciates the support from partner countries and NATO and is aware of the significance of NATO-Georgia military training in its territory. In Zurabishvili's words, Georgia takes its share of responsibility to ensure collective security and appreciates that NATO trusts it.
"The new Substantial NATO-Georgia Package, which is adjusted to security challenges, demonstrates our enhanced cooperation. We need more. We trust NATO's report. Georgia has shown its resoluteness in joining NATO, and Georgia is unwavering in its decision to follow this path," the president stressed.
